To confirm your shoot, payment in full is required 3 days prior to the shoot date. For invoices under $2,500, we will not take a deposit.

When using images shot by BlueBox Digital Media online or in any publication a proper and visible photo credit should be promptly made present either on or directly under the image on the day that the image is published.

• Please note that we do not offer refunds and if you cancel or miss your shooting date, you forfeit your payment. In case of bad weather, we will make every effort to reschedule.

• To ensure the best results, please come completely prepared with ironed clothes, tidy appearance, and makeup and hair done. We don't want anything to hold back your shoot!

• If you are a non-profit organization, please provide us with your certificate or letter to avoid being charged a tax.

• For portraits and headshots, we charge by the number of images you want, and post-production is separate. Each edited image is $30, and unedited images are $10.

• Post-production of images is usually completed within 7-10 business days, and larger orders may take up to 30 days. Studio fees are separate and vary.

• If you have a coupon code, you can use it for your shoot, but please note that only one coupon code can be used per shoot, and it expires within 30 days from the offer date.

• We reserve the right to choose all images that go to post-production, except for select model shoots where you may have the ability to choose. Please note that we do not give away any images, including RAW or SOOC images.

• We maintain full ownership and full rights to the images we produce, and you will be granted a license to use them for non-commercial use unless otherwise specified in writing. If you would like to purchase full ownership rights, we can provide you with a quote.

Merchant & Transaction Fees

• Merchant & Transaction fees are added to your bill or invoice to offset the cost of making transactions via Square. These fees can range from 2.6% + 10 cents to 3.5% + 15 cents depending on the type of transaction. An additional 3% is added to offset the cost of inflation.

Group Photoshoot Fees

• Unless otherwise stated, Lifestyle photoshoots are intended for a single individual. Additional persons are $50 each regardless of age including pets. They can be included as a group member with the initial client, but if they would like to be shot individually, they will have to book an individual shoot. At our discretion, we may discount the group members individual shoot by 10%.

Travel Fees

In choosing BlueBox Digital Media for your photography needs, it's essential to note our commitment to delivering exceptional services, even beyond the borders of Washington DC. For in-state assignments in and around the DMV, a nominal travel fee will be included in your bill or invoice, reflecting our dedication to bringing our expertise to your doorstep. In the case of out-of-state ventures, we've forged partnerships with industry leaders such as Delta, Enterprise, and Marriott Brands to facilitate seamless travel experiences. It's imperative to be aware that flight and hotel fees are subject to change, underscoring the importance of early booking to secure the most cost-effective rates. However, please note that any fees resulting from cancellations are beyond our control and are not within our responsibility. At BlueBox Digital Media, we strive for transparency and efficiency, ensuring that your photographic experience is not only visually captivating but also logistically sound.

Instate travel fees are added to your invoice to offset fuel costs and range about $40 - $50 depending on the cost of gas. Right now, gas prices in the DMV avg about $3.87 per gallon.
